  Wow, that's just amazingly wonderful 😃 We have an owl that's family to yours but different Genus. Used to be called a Barred Owl but now called African Barred Owlet. My hyperlinks don't seem to work so well so I'll just post the URL here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_barred_owlet

  Also, after looking at it a little more closely. We were wrong with the ID. This is actually a great horned owl. You can barely make out the 'great horns,' but they are just tucked in on its head.
