combined discussion boards?

    The boards have been pretty busy the past few days. One things I noticed is that it's not too clear where to post something between Help, Science, and Chat. For example the Bushnell Incident was mentioned on Help under "Cannot discuss certain images. Already analysed images?" and on Science under "Preclassified pics?".

    Comments on the Chat board get buried under the Help and Science comments on the "Recent" page.

    I'd suggest combining the three boards into one. Then the "Discussion boards" link could show the recent threads, similar to what you see on "Help/The Objects" currently, so one click instead of two. Maybe "Discussion boards" could be renamed to "Chat" as well.

    Unfortunately, the "help/science/chat" structure is hard-coded into the current Talk... We can't do anything about it. 😦

    We are working on developing the next iteration of Talk, however, that will have significantly more flexibility, and also many other improvements... like a search that works properly! 😃
