New paper out with our camera trap data

Last month we had a paper accepted to Animal Conservation. In it we looked at how socioeconomic factors (e.g. per capita income) influences the distribution of coyote, opossum, and raccoon. While I do not think I can put up the paper on here, if anyone is interested I would be happy to send them the pdf. In it, we learned that raccoons are rather swanky, and less likely to go extinct in richer neighborhoods! Here is a link to the abstract

Hey Mason, just to be clear... This paper is by you, and it's about what CWW is about, but it doesn't actually use any Chicago Wildlife Watch data, right?
Thanks!!

Very true. We had this paper in the works before CWW started (it takes a while to go through the submission process). The paper more so represents some of our brand of science. I'm already working on some stuff with CWW data too, but it will be some time before a publication comes out of it.
