the home page shows there are 531,210 images total, and we are 20% complete. So does that mean that we have completed only 106,242 images and we have 424,968 to do? I ask because when the new winter images were first loaded it showed we were 51% complete, then it changed to 18% and now we are up to 20%, just confused as to how many we have left to do.

It changed to 18% complete because we uploaded a whole bunch more images. 😃 After we finish uploading another 400,000, it will be just 9-10% complete... but that will be the entire project!
It was at 100% when we finished the first 100,000 images. It went to 51% when we uploaded another 100,000. Now since there are 500,000 in the system, it will show as just about 20% complete, and when all the data is in, it will show as 900,000 images, of which only a little over 100,000 will be complete.
In other words... there will be plenty of images to keep this project going for some time to come! 😃
