  Thought you would maybe like to watch rangers from the Addo Elephant Park rescuing a baby elephant from a deep, muddy ditch at the beginning of January this year. You can also read the article from The Herald, Hey mama! Baby elephant ‘adopts’ bakkie as new mom. We refer to the vehicle as a "bakkie" but what do you call it in America? The rangers had to act very fast as the herd of 200 elephants were close by 😃

  We call that vehicle a pickup truck. I like "bakkie" better...
